ADA Accessibility
The Dow Event Center is equipped with ADA Accessibility entrances and seating. Any patron who requires accessible seating may contact the Dow Event Center Box Office at (989) 759-1330. Please request interpreting services at least ten (10) days prior to an event.
Wheelchair/mobility accessible seating must be purchased in advance of the event as accessible seating is not guaranteed the day of the event. Guests that require ADA Accessibility Seating must request this at the time of ticket purchase.
Patrons who are disabled or elderly who need an ADA accessible entrance may utilize the drop-off area in front of The Dow Event Center on Johnson Street. All points of entry to Wendler Arena, the Applied Innovation Theatre and the Jolt Celebration Club are accessible. Wendler Arena has ramps on the concourse to access lower level seating. The Applied Innovation Theatre has accessible seating in orchestra right and left. All other seating in the theatre is not accessible and requires stairs.
Guests who require a wheelchair and do not have their own may request one from security. Security can assist retrieving the wheelchair and getting the guest from the entrance to their seat.
All of our parking options managed by the venue have handicap parking spots. All parking is first-come, first-served so please arrive early if you require a handicap parking spot.

Alcohol Beverage Policy
Alcohol is only served to persons over the age of 21 with a valid ID. The venue has a limit of two (2) drinks per person per purchase. No outside alcohol is permitted inside the venue.
Animals
Animals are prohibited in The Dow Event Center and Jolt Credit Union Event Park with the exception of service animals assisting ADA guests.
Baby Changing Stations
Baby Changing Stations are available in all women’s restrooms throughout the venue.
Bag Policy
Bags that are allowed inside the venue include:
- Bags no larger than 4.5”x6.5”x2” (do not have to be clear)
- CLEAR bags no larger than 12”x6”x12”
- Bags for medical and parenting purposes
All bags are subject to search upon entering the venue. Please plan accordingly to facilitate a quick and efficient entry process.
Banners/Signs/Flags
Signs which are foldable (no hard signs), hand-held, and no bigger than 11” x 17” are generally allowed for most events. However, this policy changes by event. Signs should not be commercial or obscene in nature or cause any disturbance to other guests. The Dow Event Center reserves the right to deny the right to bring in a sign and to remove any sign at any time.
Box Office
Walk up ticket sales are available for most events at The Dow Event Center Box Office. The Box Office opens 2 hours prior to an event.
Tickets can also be purchased through Ticketmaster online via Ticketmaster.com

Camera and Recording Policies
The use of cameras to take photos or record video during events is determined by the artist/event. Please contact us at info@doweventcenter.com for specific event policies.
Professional cameras, iPads, tablets, camcorder/Go Pro devices, and selfie sticks are prohibited at all events.
Cashless Venue
The Dow Event Center is a cashless venue. All major debit and credit cards are accepted at concession locations throughout the facility. Please note that tour/event merchandise not provided by the venue may accept cash and this will vary by event.
Catering
Legends Global manages all catering needs at The Dow Event Center. Whether you are planning a corporate meeting, a pre-show reception, formal dinner, or fundraising event, we offer a variety of options to accommodate your needs. After booking your event, a staff member will reach out to arrange your food and beverage service.
Children's Ticket Policy
The children’s ticket policy is at the discretion of show management. Please refer to the event information page for specific event information. However, most events require children two (2) and older must have a ticket. Children under the age of two (2) do not require a ticket, but must sit in a lap. Again, please refer to the specific event policy or contact the Box Office for questions. Please contact the Saginaw Spirit and Michigan Arsenal for their children’s ticket policy.
Concessions
All concessions are provided exclusively in-house by Legends. Outside food and beverages may not be brought into The Dow Event Center. Guests may bring one empty, clear, refillable water bottle.
For food and beverage concession stands, we accept credit and debit card transactions only. Cash is no longer accepted.
Credit Cards
All major credit cards are accepted at all fixed concession locations, the Box Office, and parking options. (American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa)

Door Opening
Doors to the venue open at varying times according to the nature of the event and the preference of the promoter/artist. Typically, doors open 60 to 90 minutes prior to the start of the event. Please note that you may have to wait outside before doors open so plan ahead accordingly.
Donation Requests
Charities and other nonprofit groups requesting donation or auction items from The Dow Event Center should submit a donation request form. (link to donation request form) Please allow at least four (4) weeks for processing. Submission of a request does not guarantee a donation will be offered.
Drones
The operation or use of a drone is prohibited on Dow Event Center or Jolt Credit Union Event Park property without prior, written permission from management.
Ejection Policy
Guests not abiding by the Camera & Recording Policy or the Guest Conduct Policy are subject to ejection without refund from The Dow Event Center.
Elevator
An elevator is located in the arena on the north concourse to reach arena suites. Please note that there are no other elevators in the venue. For ADA Accessible seating, please contact the Box Office prior to the event or request at the time of purchasing tickets.
Emergency Evacuation
Dow Event Center staff have been trained in emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures. In the event of an emergency, please follow the direction of staff for your safety and the safety of others.
Entrance
The Dow Event Center has a no re-entry policy. In the event a guest needs to exit and return for any reason, the guest should be referred to the Manager on Duty for the event, who will approve the guest exiting and returning if the situation warrants. Examples of such situations include medical emergencies or permitting a service animal to relieve itself.
Entry Screening
All guests coming for an event must pass through metal detectors. When considered necessary by security staff, a visual or full search or use of wanding may be conducted prior to entering the venue. Guests not willing to comply with search and security procedures may be asked to leave without a refund.

Event Booking
The Dow Event Center offers a variety of event spaces that accommodate the needs of a small business meeting, to a wedding, to a large-scale concert. If you would like to book a private event, please visit our Private Events page.
Firearms
Firearms may be restricted at the discretion of a promoter/artist. To find out the firearms policy for a specific show, please email us at info@doweventcenter.com. In the event firearms are permitted, guests must register with a security staff member.
First Aid
First aid services are provided during all events at The Dow Event Center. For assistance, please contact the closes staff member.
Groups
Entertain your group at The Dow Event Center! Discounts may be available for groups of 10 or more for participating events. More information can be found on our Group Tickets page.
Guest Conduct
- Guests shall be respectful of all other guests, staff, performers, participants, officials, players, and venue property.
- Guests shall follow the direction of all venue and event staff.
- Guests shall refrain from saying or wearing items with threatening or abusive language or making obscene gestures.
- Guests shall refrain from throwing objects.
- Guests shall refrain from fighting, taunting, assaulting, or any other unwanted physical contact. Guests will refrain from any other behavior that will interfere with other guests’ ability to enjoy the event or staff’s ability to work.
- Guests shall not enter the playing or performance area or interfere with an event in any manner.
- Guests are prohibited from standing on seats or standing/sitting on other guests’ shoulders.
- Guests consuming alcoholic beverages will do so in a legal and responsible manner.
- Guests are not permitted to smoke, including vaping and e-cigarettes, inside The Dow Event Center and Event Park.
- Guests are not permitted to engage in unsanctioned commercial or political activity while on The Dow Event Center premises.
- Any other conduct deemed by Dow Event Center staff to be inappropriate to the peace and good order of events or which may adversely affect the safety of persons or property will be handled immediately by our staff and may result in an ejection.
- Guests who fail to comply with The Dow Event Center code of conduct are subject to immediate ejection.
Hearing Assistance
Complimentary hearing assistance devices are available. Please request from an usher. Identification is required in order to check out the device. Identification will be returned to the guest upon return of the device following the event.
Requests for aid and service should be made at least ten (10) business days prior to an event. The ADA Facilitator may be unable to fill a request if made less than ten (10) business days in advance of an event.
Lost & Found
Items found before, during, or after an event may be given to Dow Event Center staff. To inquire about a lost item during an event, please ask a staff member. To inquire about a lost item after an event, please email us at info@doweventcenter.com. The Dow Event Center and its staff are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Lost items not claimed within thirty (30) days are donated to local charities or thrown out.
Lost Guest
The paging of guests inside The Dow Event Center is not permitted during events. Please alert Dow Event Center staff immediately if a member of your party is missing during an event.
Media Inquiries
For media inquiries or to request event credentials, please contact the Marketing Director at kristens@doweventcenter.com. Requests are subject to approval, access is not guaranteed.
Metal Detectors
The Dow Event Center utilizes walk-through metal detectors and wanding at entrance points to enhance safety and security at events.
Prior to entering walk-through metal detectors, guests will be asked to remove cell phones, keys, and other large metal objects and place them in security bins. Do not remove belts, watches, or small jewelry.
Please have all approved bags open and ready for screening.
Michigan Arsenal
The Dow Event Center is proud of the newest Arena Football One league team, the Michigan Arsenal. Visit the Michigan Arsenal website for more information and to view the Michigan Arsenal game schedule.
Nonprofit Organizations
Groups interested in raising funds be selling concessions during an event should contact us at info@doweventcenter.com.
For a donation request, please fill out the donation request form and allow at least four (4) weeks for processing. Submitting a form does not guarantee a donation will be granted.
Nursing Mothers
For a donation request, please fill out the donation request form (link to donation request form) and allow at least four (4) weeks for processing. Submitting a form does not guarantee a donation will be granted.

Prohibited Items
In order to maintain a safe, secure environment for guests and staff, The Dow Event Center reserves the right to refuse items deemed unsafe, inappropriate or that violate the policy. All guests are subject to a search of coats, bags and will be required to be wanded or pass through a metal detector.

Re-Entry
For the safety of our patrons, re-entry is strictly prohibited.
Restrooms
The Dow Event Center has restrooms conveniently located throughout the venue. Staff members can help direct you to the closest location from your seats.
Rideshare
Rideshare, such as Uber and Lyft, are limited at this time. Please plan accordingly and carpool if possible.
Saginaw Spirit
The Dow Event Center has been the proud home of the OHL hockey team, the Saginaw Spirit, since 2002. Visit the Saginaw Spirit website for more information and to view the Saginaw Spirit game schedule.
Seating Charts & Capacity
The Dow Event Center has flexible seating configurations in each venue to accommodate each event’s needs. Visit the Box Office page for more information. For event-specific charts, please visit each event page and view on Ticketmaster.com.
Security
The Dow Event Center utilizes a staff of security officers and police officers in and around the facility, as well as video technology to enhance the safety and security of our guests, clients, and staff. The venue is staffed to meet the needs of the crowd as well as the requirements of the clients.
Smoking Policy
The Dow Event Center and Event Park are completely non-smoking facilities. All guests are prohibited from smoking (including e-cigarettes, vaporizers or similar products) at any time inside and outside the venue.

Strollers
Strollers are not permitted inside The Dow Event Center or Jolt Credit Union Event Park at any time.

Ticket Issues
For ticket-related problems at an event, prior to going through security at The Dow Event Center, guests should proceed directly to the nearest open Box Office window.
For ticket-related problems prior to an event, contact the Box Office at (989) 759-1330 or boxoffice@doweventcenter.com. Visit the Ticketmaster Help Center for assistance if tickets were purchased through Ticketmaster.com.
Ticket Reselling
The resale or attempted reselling of tickets on The Dow Event Center or Jolt Credit Union Event Park property is prohibited by law. Violators will be removed from the premises and subject to arrest and prosecution as appropriate.
Ticket Refunds
All ticket sales are final. The Box Office does not offer refunds or exchanges unless specific event policy, artist changes or event postponement or cancellations are made. Refunds will be issued to the original point of purchase.
Tours
If your school or student group would like a tour, please contact Venue Management at info@doweventcenter.com.
Umbrellas
Small umbrellas are allowed inside The Dow Event Center and Jolt Credit Union Event Park. Umbrellas with a pointed handle of any kind or that are too large and impede the view of other guests will not be allowed.

Water Fountains
Water fountains are located throughout the venue. Guests may bring one empty, clear, refillable bottle. No outside food, beverages, or filled containers are permitted.
Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Guests can request one upon arrival from security.
Will Call
Will Call is located at The Dow Event Center Box Office unless otherwise stated. Guests can pick up tickets from any open window up to two (2) hours prior to an event start time. Some events may have restrictions, different times or different locations for pick up of VIP, fan club, band and promoter will call.
Yondr (Phone Free Performances)
Select shows use Yondr pouches to create phone-free performance spaces. Information regarding the use of Yondr will be listed on the show’s event page.
- Upon arrival at the venue, phones will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event.
- Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times.
- If you have mobile tickets, you will need to receive a seating location slip before securing your device in a pouch.
- Guests can access their devices throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the venue. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space.
